GSET Examination 2022 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates aspiring to become an assistant professor in Gujarat must fulfil the GSET eligibility criteria. Ineligible applicants will get their candidature rejected in the later stages of the examination process. Space below mentions the eligibility conditions to take GSET 2022.
- Candidates should be studying or should have passed in the final year or semester of a UGC specified Master’s degree.
- Aspirants of other states are eligible. However, such candidates will be treated under the general category
- Candidates must have a Master’s Degree recognised by the Universities Grants Commission in a subject of GSET.
- Candidates should ascertain the equivalence certificate from any AIU if they have completed any of the following programmes.
– Post Graduate diploma
– Certificate awarded by Indian University/Institute
– Foreign degree / diploma / certificate - All the candidates belonging to unreserved categories must score at least 55% marks at the Master’s degree level (50% for reserved categories)
- PhD degree holders whose Master’s level examination had been completed by September 19, 1991, are eligible for a 5% relaxation in aggregate marks for appearing in the GSET Examination.
